Neath Gum Busting Project Launch

Launched today, the Neath Town Centre Chewing Gum Pollution Project and Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council’s Chewing Gum Action Group. A big thank you to Neath Town  Mayor Cllr Mark Protheroe, Cllr Edward Latham, Cabinet Member for Streetscene and Engineering, Cllr Alan Lockyer and Mr Mike Roberts Head of Streetscene and Engineering for attending today.

Neath Rotary is proud to have initiated this project in partnership with the Neath Port Talbot Group of Colleges

Since the project was initiated last December Rotary has seen their partnerships grow with NPTCB Council, Neath Town Council, Keep Wales Tidy, Neath Inspired, Neath YMCA, Neath Chamber of Trade, Gnoll Primary School, Dwryfelin Comprehensive school, Neath Port Talbot Council for Voluntary Service and a connection is ongoing to involve the support of Network Rail. This is being achieved with the help of Assembly member Jeremy Miles and MP Christina Rees

Neath Rotary thanks you all, with a special thank you to the brilliant College marketing team and the staff and students of Neath Campus College, Dwryfelyn Comprehensive School and the staff and children of Gnoll Primary School. We thank the Castle Hotel and another big thank you to the Neath Ukuleles who yet again have supported our cause with their cheerful music.


Neath Facebook & Multi Media Marketing Training FREE to Business Improvement District Businesses

Following on from the success of the first FREE Facebook & Multi Media Marketing training course when 13 businesses attended, Neath Inspired is now running the training again.

The course will take place on Tuesday 10th October in the Gwyn Hall. BID Businesses are recommended to apply early as places are limited to 12 people for each course.

There will be a Beginners , Intermediate and Expert session held at intervals throughout the day.
